The following NAMI programs are designed to educate and support families. All NAMI classes and groups are available free to all participants.

NAMI Family-To-Family Class
NAMI Family-to-Family is a class for families, significant others and friends of adults with mental health conditions. The course is designed to facilitate a better understanding of mental health conditions, increase coping skills and empower participants to become advocates for their family members. This program was designated as an evidence-based program by SAMHSA.
NAMI Basics Class
NAMI Basics is a class for parents, guardians and other family caregivers who provide care for youth (age 22 or younger) who are experiencing mental health symptoms. NAMI Basics OnDemand is available for free at any time.
All NAMI classes and groups are available free to all participants.

If you don’t know where to begin getting mental health, substance use, or emotional help for yourself or someone you know–start with Colorado Crisis Services. They provide confidential and immediate support 24/7/365. If you are in crisis or need help dealing with one, call this toll-free number, 844.493.8255 (TALK), or text “TALK” to 38255 to speak to a trained professional. There is also a Walk-In Crisis Center available at 3180 Airport Rd. in Boulder, which is free and open 24/7.
